This 1966 Chevrolet Chevy II Nova Sport Coupe was acquired by the seller in 2013 after being repainted in black and fitted with a replacement 327ci V8 linked to a four-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a 12-bolt rear axle, 15″ Cragar S/S wheels, a Holley carburetor, power front disc brakes, a Flowmaster exhaust system, air conditioning, a Hurst shifter, black vinyl interior upholstery, AutoMeter gauges, and a push-button AM radio. Maintenance performed under current ownership is said to have included replacing the ball joints in 2022 and performing an oil change in preparation for the sale. This Nova coupe is now offered with two keys, manufacturer’s literature, and a clean Massachusetts title in the seller’s name.
The Fisher-produced body left the factory finished in Mist Blue Metallic (D-D) and was repainted black under previous ownership. Exterior details include a cowl-induction hood, bright rocker panel and lower fender moldings, chrome bumpers, dual side mirrors, and 327 and Super Sport badging. The antenna is broken, and imperfections and blemishes can be seen in the gallery below.
Cragar S/S 15″ wheels are mounted with 205/65 front and 215/60 rear BFGoodrich Advantage T/A tires. A full-size spare is mounted in the trunk. Braking is provided by power-assisted front discs and rear drums. The ball joints are said to have been replaced in 2022.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in black vinyl fitted with Fisher-crested lap belts. Equipment includes air conditioning, a Hurst shifter, a center console, rubber floor mats, SS badging, and a push-button AM radio. Imperfections are present on the bottom of the door panels and on the rear bench.
The two-spoke steering wheel frames a horizontal-sweep 120-mph speedometer, a fuel level gauge, and an analog clock. An auxiliary gauge cluster fitted with AutoMeter instrumentation sits ahead of the shifter. The five-digit odometer shows 3k miles, approximately 2k of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The replacement 327ci V8 was installed under previous ownership and is topped with a Holley “double-pumper” carburetor and a dual-snorkel chrome air cleaner. An oil change was performed in preparation for the sale. Worn paint is present on the radiator.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transmission and a 12-bolt rear axle. The car is fitted with a dual-outlet 2.5” exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers.
