This 1971 Chevrolet Camaro is a split-bumper example that was refurbished in orange pearl over a black vinyl interior under previous ownership and was acquired by the seller two years ago out of Indiana. Power is from a replacement 454ci V8 crate engine featuring forged internals and exhaust headers, and additional modifications include a Tremec five-speed manual transmission with overdrive, a dual exhaust system, staggered 17″ wheels, adjustable coilovers, disc brakes, and more. This Camaro is offered with refurbishment records, a spare radio receiver, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.
The car was finished in Burnt Orange (62) from the factory, and was repainted in its current Oh So Orange with a pearl topcoat during the refurbishment according to the seller. Features include a split front bumper, front and rear spoilers, a cowl-induction hood scoop, and black stripes running down the center of the body. A scratch along the left rear wheel arch is shown further in the gallery, and matching touch-up paint is included in the sale.
Staggered-width 17″ American Racing Torq Thrust wheels feature a polished finish and wear BFGoodrich g-Force Sport tires measuring 245/40 in the front and 275/40 at the rear. Disc brakes are fitted at all four corners.
Replacement black vinyl upholstery covers the front bucket and rear bench seats. Further updates include a new dash pad and carpeting as well as a Hurst shifter with a cueball knob in the full-length center console.
White AutoMeter Pro-Comp gauges are ringed in silver and include a five-digit odometer indicating approximately 300 miles. Exact mileage is unknown. No stereo is present, though the seller notes a new Custom Autosound retro-style radio unit is included in the sale.
The 454ci HO V8 crate engine features four-bolt main bearing caps, forged steel crank and connecting rods, forged aluminum pistons, and a hydraulic roller cam. The engine breathes through a Proform carburetor on an Edelbrock intake manifold and Hooker headers feeding a custom dual exhaust system. An oil change and spark plug replacement were completed in preparation for the sale.
Power is routed to the rear wheels via a Tremec TKO 600 five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip rear end with 3.73:1 gears and Moser axles. Further updates include front and rear QA1 adjustable coilovers as well as replacement upper and lower control arms. Videos featuring this Camaro are provided below.
