1968 Chevrolet Camaro Coupe

This 1968 Chevrolet Camaro coupe was refurbished and modified prior to the current owner’s 2016 acquisition with the installation of a 355ci V8 that is backed by a four-speed manual transmission and equipped with Edelbrock cylinder heads, a COMP cams camshaft, a Griffin radiator, and a dual exhaust system. Further modifications include staggered-diameter wheels, Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes, power steering, and a vented hood. The car has been refinished in blue with contrasting stripes, and the refreshed interior houses front bucket and individual rear seats trimmed in blue leather, a Pioneer CD stereo, and a Hurst T-handle shifter. This Camaro coupe is now offered by the seller on behalf of the owner with a car cover and transferable New York registration.

Paintwork was performed under prior ownership, and the car is finished in blue with contrasting stripes. Features include a vented hood, a rear spoiler, bright trim, and SS badging.

Five-spoke wheels measure 17″ up front and 18″ out back and are mounted with General and Hankook tires, respectively. Braking is handled by red-finished Wilwood calipers over cross-drilled and slotted discs at all four corners. The car is equipped with power steering.

The refreshed cabin houses front bucket seats and individual rear seats upholstered in blue leather, which is complemented by a color-coordinated dashboard and door panels along with gray carpets. A Pioneer CD player is housed in the center console ahead of the Hurst T-handle shifter.

The three-spoke steering wheel is trimmed in blue and fronts a 140-mph speedometer with an inset 8k-rpm tachometer in addition to a combination gauge. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 2,500 miles, approximately 200 of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.

The seller reports that the 355ci V8 was installed in 2016 and equipped with an Edelbrock intake manifold and cylinder heads, a COMP Cams camshaft and rocker arms, and a Griffin radiator.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. The dual exhaust system is equipped with Dynatech components.
