This 1968 Chevrolet Camaro coupe is finished in red over black vinyl and is powered by a replacement 350ci V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission. The car was refurbished with a repaint and an interior re-trim before the seller’s acquisition in 2013. Equipment includes 14” Rallye II-style wheels, power front disc brakes, front and rear spoilers, chrome bumpers, power steering, a center console, a Hurst shifter, and a push-button AM radio. This Camaro is now offered with an owner’s manual and a clean Colorado title in the seller’s name.
The car left the factory finished in Sequoia Green and was repainted in red with black “hockey stick” stripes under prior ownership. Exterior details include front and rear spoilers, faux hood vents, chrome bumpers, bright trim along the wheel openings and rocker panels, and Camaro, SS, and 350 badging.
Rallye II-style 14” wheels are mounted with 245/60 Grand Am Radial G/T tires. The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is handled by power-assisted discs up front and drums out back.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in black vinyl with color-coordinated door panels and carpets. Woodgrain trim adorns the center console, and additional appointments include a Hurst shifter, a push-button AM radio, and Camaro SS-branded floor mats.
The three-spoke steering wheel wears an SS-style horn cap and frames a 120-mph speedometer and a tachometer with an inset clock, while auxiliary gauges are located on the center console. The five-digit odometer shows 49k miles, approximately 1k of which have been added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The replacement 350ci V8 was installed under prior ownership and is equipped with a Rochester Quadrajet carburetor, an Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold and a chrome-finished air cleaner lid and valve covers.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. Corrosion is visible on underbody components, which can be viewed in the gallery.
