This 1970 Chevrolet Camaro is finished in gold over black vinyl upholstery and is powered by a replacement 383ci V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a cowl induction hood, front and rear spoilers, a Hurst shifter, AutoMeter gauges, bucket seats, a Holley carburetor, an aluminum radiator, exhaust headers, 15″ wheels, and front disc brakes. Produced at GM’s Norwood, Ohio, facility, the car is said to have the subject a repaint, an interior refresh, and a mechanical refurbishment under prior ownership. This Camaro was acquired by the seller in May 2022 and is now offered with a clean Michigan title in the seller’s name.
Delivered new in Camaro Gold (53), the car was repainted during the refurbishment and is accented with dual black body stripes. Additional features include a cowl induction hood, front and rear spoilers, and Z28 badges. The seller notes paint chips and imperfections on portions of the body as depicted in the gallery.
Five-spoke 15″ wheels feature dark gray centers and wear a set of BFGoodrich white-letter radial tires. Braking is provided by front discs and rear drums.
A black treatment is carried throughout the interior, including the dashboard, door panels, and replacement seat upholstery. Equipment includes a Hurst shifter, a Grant steering wheel, and manually operated windows. No radio is installed, and a trim piece is missing from the rear parcel shelf.
White-dial AutoMeter gauges are recessed within a carbon-fiber-style cluster and feature a five-digit odometer indicating that nearly 300 miles have been driven since completion of the build. Total mileage is unknown. The seller notes the parking brake and windshield wipers are inoperative.
A 383ci V8 was installed under prior ownership and has been fitted with a Holley carburetor, an aluminum intake manifold, Dart aluminum cylinder heads, and exhaust headers. An aftermarket air cleaner housing is installed, and the aluminum radiator is equipped with an electric fan. A general inspection was carried out in summer 2022 according to the seller, who notes the exhaust system occasionally rubs when driving over bumps.
Additional photos in the gallery illustrate the condition of the underside and mechanical components.
