This 1970 Chevrolet Camaro sport coupe was acquired by the current owner in December 2021, and subsequent work included rebuilding and modifying the 350ci V8 with a .030″ overbore, aftermarket pushrods and roller rockers, a Delta camshaft, ARP rod and head bolts, and Edelbrock cylinder heads. The car is finished in red over black vinyl upholstery, and additional equipment includes a four-speed manual transmission, a Hurst shifter, a cassette tape player, front and rear spoilers, power-assisted steering, front disc brakes, and gray-painted 15″ wheels. This Camaro is now offered on dealer consignment with a clean Wyoming title in the owner’s name.
The car was factory finished in blue and reportedly was refinished in red with black stripes approximately 20 years ago. Features include a split front bumper, Z28 badging, front and rear spoilers, and dual turn-down exhaust outlets.
Gray-finished 15” Z28 wheels are mounted with 225/60 front and 245/60 rear BFGoodrich Radial T/A raised-white-letter tires. Braking is provided by unassisted front discs and rear drums, and the car is equipped with power steering.
The cabin features front bucket seats upholstered in black vinyl with a matching dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Amenities include a heater, a Sherwood cassette tape player, a center console, and a Hurst shifter with a cue-ball knob.
An RS-branded steering wheel fronts instrumentation consisting of a 150-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for fuel level, amperage, and coolant temperature. An aftermarket oil-pressure gauge is mounted below the dash. The five-digit odometer shows 71k miles, approximately 200 of which were added by the current owner. Total mileage is unknown.
The 350ci V8 was reportedly rebuilt by Top End Auto Machine of Sheridan, Wyoming, in 2022. Work is said to have included a .030″ overbore as well as the installation of an Edelbrock intake manifold and cylinder heads, ARP rod and head bolts, Speed Pro H631CP pistons, a Delta camshaft, and replacement pushrods and roller rockers.
Power is routed through a four-speed manual transmission which was reportedly serviced with a resurfaced flywheel. Additional underbody photographs are provided in the gallery below.
