This 1963 Chevrolet Chevy II Nova sport coupe was refurbished under previous ownership and is powered by a replacement 350ci V8 linked with a three-speed automatic transmission. The car is finished in red over gray patterned cloth and features Nova SS badging, polished dual exhaust outlets, power-assisted brakes, air conditioning, and a Sherwood AM/FM cassette stereo. The car was acquired by the seller in Georgia in April 2022 and subsequent work included the installation of a replacement Edelbrock carburetor and air conditioning system service. This Nova is now offered with two keys and Georgia registration.
The car was reportedly repainted in the early 2000s in its current shade of red and features a chrome driver-side mirror, body-side moldings, rocker trim, a silver rear fascia, polished dual exhaust outlets, and Nova SS badging on the quarter panels and trunk lid. Additional photos of the exterior and trim are provided in the gallery below.
Silver 14″ steel wheels with trim rings are mounted with 185/70 front and 225/70 rear Performance Steel Radial tires. Stopping is provided by power-assisted four-wheel drum brakes.
The refurbished cabin features custom upholstery including front bucket seats trimmed in patterned gray cloth as well as a matching rear bench, headliner, inner door panels, and kick panels. Amenities include an under-dash air conditioning unit, a fabricated center console, floor mats, a B&M shifter, a locking glove compartment, and a Sherwood AM/FM cassette stereo. The seller notes that the air conditioning system was recently serviced.
A body-color steering wheel fronts a 120-mph speedometer, a combination gauge, and a retrofitted Classic Instruments tachometer. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 12k miles, approximately 500 of which were added by the seller. Total mileage is unknown.
The replacement 350ci V8 was installed during the refurbishment, at which time the engine bay was finished in gloss black. An aluminum radiator is fitted, while a replacement Edelbrock carburetor was installed and an oil change was completed under current ownership. The seller states that the trim tag on the firewall was removed during the refurbishment and is missing.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a TH350 three-speed automatic transmission. A dual exhaust system with Magnaflow mufflers is shown and additional photos of the underside are viewable in the gallery.
