This 1980 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 was the subject of refurbishment work including a respray in black, installing a 350ci V8, and a refresh of the black interior. The car equipped with a three-speed automatic transmission, a cowl-induction hood, a front air dam, a rear spoiler, 15″ five-spoke wheels, power-assisted front disc brakes, power steering, and an aftermarket AM/FM stereo. The car was acquired by the seller in 2021 and recent work completed consisted of an oil change, and replacing the spark plugs and air filter. This Camaro Z28 is now offered at no reserve with an owner’s manual, refurbishment photos, and a clean Montana title in the seller’s name.
The car was originally finished in black (19) and was repainted during the refurbishment work. Equipment includes Z28 graphics in silver and gray, a cowl-induction hood, a front air dam, a rear spoiler, fender vents, and bright window trim.
Five-spoke 15″ alloy wheels wear Firestone Destination LE3 tires. The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums. The front calipers and rear wheel cylinders have reportedly been replaced along with the rear sway bar, the shocks absorbers, and the upper ball joints.
The cabin features front bucket seats that were originally upholstered in red vinyl and were reportedly dyed black along with the dashboard, and door panels. The car is equipped with a heater and an aftermarket AM/FM stereo. The seller states the carpets and seat belts have been replaced.
The four-spoke steering wheel wears a simulated rope-wrap and frames an 85-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 76k miles. Total mileage is unknown.
The replacement 350ci V8 is said to be a Jasper-sourced replacement installed under previous ownership. The spark plugs were replaced and an oil change was completed in preparation for the sale. Power is sent to the rear-wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission. The seller states the subframe was refinished with a rubberized undercoat and an aluminum radiator and battery were installed.
