This 1979 Camaro Z28 is finished in bright blue over black upholstery and is powered by a 350ci V8 paired with a six-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a fiberglass hood, front and rear spoilers, fender vents, polished 15″ Weld wheels, front disc brakes, power steering, traction bars, air conditioning, power locks, and a Kenwood AM/FM cassette stereo. The car spent time in Michigan and was acquired by the seller in April 2021. This Z28 is offered with a clean Tennessee title in the seller’s name.
The exterior is said to have been refinished in the factory Bright Blue Metallic under previous ownership and is equipped with a Harwood fiberglass hood with hold-down pins, dual side mirrors, front and rear spoilers, fender vents, mud flaps, blue and black Z28 decals, and dual exhaust outlets. Imperfections are visible in the front bumper and ahead of the left-front wheel.
Polished 15″ Weld wheels are mounted with Mickey Thompson Sportsman Pro tires. Stopping power is provided by front disc and rear drum brakes, and the suspension is equipped with traction bars at the rear.
A black monochromatic treatment is carried throughout the interior, including the bucket seats, carpeting, door panels, and dash pad. A center console is fitted along with air conditioning, manual crank windows, and a Kenwood AM/FM cassette stereo.
A four-spoke steering wheel frames a 130-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and voltage. The five-digit odometer shows 74k miles, approximately 500 of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The 350ci V8 is equipped with a Holley carburetor, tubular headers, finned-aluminum valve covers, and a Z28-branded air cleaner cover as well as an Edelbrock intake manifold and aluminum heads. The oil was changed in preparation for the sale.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a T56 Magnum six-speed manual transmission said to have been installed under current ownership along with a 10-bolt rear end. Additional photos of the underside are presented in the gallery.
