This 1977 Chevrolet Camaro is powered by a 454ci V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission and was acquired by the selling dealer in 2016. The car is finished in two-tone black and tangerine metallic and features a replacement black interior. Additional modifications include a cowl-induction hood, an HEI distributor, an Edelbrock carburetor, Magnaflow exhaust, an aluminum radiator, 17″ wheels, and a modern audio system. This Camaro is now offered in Warwick, Rhode Island with a clean Ohio title.
According to the selling dealer, the car underwent a refurbishment approximately eight years ago that included a repaint in custom two-tone black and tangerine metallic with green pinstriping. Exterior equipment includes a billet grille, an aftermarket cowl-induction hood, a decklid spoiler, and dark-tinted taillight covers. The door handles have been shaved, and the doors can be opened via a fob-operated electronic popper.
Showwheels Streeter 17” wheels are finished in black with a polished lip and wear Falken Ziex ZE912 tires. Braking is provided by discs at the front and drums at the rear.
The interior is trimmed in black with matching door panels, carpeting, and vinyl seats with cloth inserts. Equipment includes lap belts front and rear as well as a center console.
A three-spoke Grant steering wheel fronts AutoMeter gauges including a 160-mph speedometer, a 10k-rpm tachometer, and a digital odometer showing 1,500 miles, which is said to be the distance covered since completion of the refurbishment; the selling dealer has added approximately 200 miles. The dashboard houses a lockable glovebox and a Sony USB head unit connected to trunk-mounted Rockford Fosgate speakers.
The factory 350ci engine has been replaced with a 454ci V8 paired with a Muncie four-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a custom-painted air cleaner, an Edelbrock carburetor, a Weiand intake manifold, an aluminum radiator, Doug’s Headers, and Magnaflow mufflers.
