This 1976 Chevrolet Camaro Type LT was originally delivered to Gillogly Chevrolet in West Seneca, New York, and was refurbished in 2020 with the installation of an overbored 350ci V8 that features SCAT connecting rods, an Eagle crankshaft, and Speed Pro hypereutectic pistons. A 200R4 four-speed automatic transmission was also installed at that time, and the car was repainted silver. The factory F41 sport suspension was overhauled in 2022 with WS6 Trans Am-style front springs and a stabilizer bar, KYB shocks, and AFCO Racing rear leaf springs. Other equipment includes dark blue vinyl upholstery, front and rear spoilers, 15″ alloy wheels, Hooker headers, an Edelbrock intake manifold topped by a Brawler carburetor, power-assisted front disc brakes, a center console, a rear window defogger, a Pioneer AM/FM/cassette radio, air conditioning, and front bucket seats with an adjustable driver’s seatback. This Camaro was purchased by the seller in 2023 and is now offered with a window sticker, the owner’s manual, service records, and a clean Oklahoma title in the seller’s name.
Finished from the factory in silver, the car was repainted in 2016 and features Type LT badging, recessed headlights, wrap-around taillights, front and rear spoilers, dual side mirrors, and chrome bumpers. The car was ceramic coated in 2023.
Gunmetal Z28-style 15″ wheels are mounted with 225/60 front and 235/60 rear BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. The car was optioned with the F41 sport suspension, and the suspension was overhauled during in 2022 with WS6 Trans Am-style springs, KYB shocks, and a WS6 stabilizer bar up front, with the rear receiving AFCO Racing leaf springs and KYB shocks. Polyurethane bushings were installed all around. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted front disc and rear drum brakes.
The front bucket seats and rear bench are upholstered in dark blue vinyl and cloth, and woodgrain vinyl accents the dash. Interior amenities include a perforated headliner, an adjustable driver’s seatback, a center console, a rear window defogger, a Pioneer AM/FM/cassette radio, and air conditioning.
The four-spoke steering wheel frames a 130-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 5k-rpm redline, an analog clock, and auxiliary gauges for fuel level, battery amperage, and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 75k miles, approximately 500 of which were added under current ownership.
The factory 305ci Turbo-Fire V8 has been replaced with a 350ci V8 that was bored .030″ over in 2020. Equipment is said to include SCAT connecting rods, an Eagle crankshaft, Speed Pro hypereutectic pistons, 64cc iron cylinder heads with 9.4:1 compression, a mild camshaft, an Edelbrock intake manifold, a Brawler carburetor, and Hooker Super Competition headers.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a replacement 200R4 four-speed automatic transmission and a 3.42:1 Posi-traction rear end.
