This 1975 Chevrolet Camaro was purchased in 2008 by the seller and was subsequently refurbished, with work completing in 2012. Work reportedly included a repaint, rebuilds of the engine and transmission, and the installation of a replacement interior. It is finished in Rally Yellow with black racing stripes over a black interior. Power is from a 350ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission, and equipment includes an Edelbrock carburetor, roller rocker arms, and Sanderson headers. This Camaro is now offered with a clean South Carolina title in the seller’s name.
The seller repainted the car Rally Yellow, a factory Chevrolet color from 2010, with added black gloss racing stripes. The exterior chrome, exterior badging, and plastic bumper trim have been removed, and a replacement front fender panel, windshield, and side windows have been installed.
Chrome 17” Cragar wheels wear staggered BFGoodrich g-Force Super Sport tires measuring 215/50 at the front and 245/45 on the rear. Equipment includes a Posi-traction 3.08:1 rear differential, and work performed within the last 5,400 miles is said to have included the installation of a replacement rear gear set, axle bearings, urethane body and sub-frame mounts, front brake calipers, brake booster, and brake master cylinder. The parking brake system has been removed.
The interior is trimmed in black and features refurbished seat covers and door panels, along with replacement carpeting and headliner. Equipment includes a Vintage Air air-conditioning system, power windows with concealed switches, power locks, a power trunk opener, and replacement seat belts with refurbished retractors.
The three-spoke steering wheel features a yellow horn button and fronts yellow gauges housed in a carbon fiber-look panel. Instrumentation includes a digital gear indicator, a 120-mph speedometer, a 6k-rpm tachometer, and a digital odometer showing 5,500 miles, which is said to be the distance covered since the completion of the refurbishment in 2012. The car is fitted with a code-activated start/stop push-button ignition system, an aftermarket Kenwood head unit with remote control, and a replacement wiring harness.
The 350ci V8 is paired with a three-speed TH350 automatic transmission, both of which have reportedly been rebuilt. Equipment includes an Edelbrock intake, Edelbrock carburetor, roller rocker arms, Sanderson exhaust headers, and a dual exhaust system. Recent work is said to have included the installation of a replacement radiator, alternator, and Optima battery. Oil leaks from the engine and transmission are noted, as is piston slap at cold idle.
