This 1973 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 was sold new by Rudy Haupt’s Hallman Chevrolet of Johnstown, Pennsylvania in January 1973 and was purchased by the seller out of Massachusetts in June 1998. The car was given a refurbishment under prior ownership, with work said to have included an exterior color change and replacements of the powertrain. This Camaro is offered with removed parts, a set of factory wheels, 1973 warranty paperwork, a build sheet, and transferable New Hampshire registration in the seller’s name.
The car was finished in Green Gold Poly (46) from the factory, and it was repainted in its current red while under previous ownership according to the seller. Features include front and rear spoilers, dual side mirrors, and black stripes running down the center of the body. Suspension updates performed in 2016 by the seller are said to have included adjustable coilover shocks up front, a pair of Ridetech shocks and heavy-duty shackles at the rear, and replacements for the upper and lower control arms, subframe connectors, and rear sway bar. Disc brakes are fitted up front. A set of stock Rallye wheels and the removed suspension components are included in the sale.
Black vinyl and gray cloth upholstery covers the front bucket and rear bench seats. Additions include replacement front seatbelts and a Grant three-spoke steering wheel as well as an Alpine CD player linked to a pair of speakers under the dash and a pair of JBL speakers mounted on the rear deck.
The five-digit odometer shows just under 15k miles, and the seller has added more than 14k miles in 22 years; actual mileage is unknown. The seller notes that the heater is inoperative.
