This 1973 Chevrolet Camaro was acquired by the seller in 2007 from an Arizona dealer, who had reportedly purchased it from the estate of its original owner in California. A subsequent refurbishment included powder coating the chassis and repainting the body in white as well as installation of a 383ci stroker V8 with an Eagle crankshaft, Speedpro pistons, and Dart cylinder heads. Additional modifications include a five-speed Tremec manual gearbox, 10-bolt Positraction rear end, Holley electronic fuel injection, power steering and brakes, 18″ Vintage Wheel Works wheels, a customized interior, upgraded suspension, and more. This Camaro is offered with refurbishment records and a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.
The body panels were sandblasted and rust repair was reportedly carried out in several areas prior to a repaint in two-stage Artic White with black stripes. A bubble is noted on the lower driver-side rocker panel, and a walk-around video has been provided by the seller.
Two-piece 18″ Vintage Wheel Works wheels wear fresh Michelin Pilot Sport tires measuring 285/35 out back and 245/40 up front. Braking is handled by power-assisted C5 Corvette discs with stainless steel hoses at each corner, and the car is equipped with power steering. Suspension features Koni Red shock absorbers all around as well as Custom Works sway bars front and rear.
The cabin is fitted with black leather Cobra Lemans sport seats, an air conditioning system from Vintage Air, and power windows. Audio components include an Alpine stereo with Bluetooth and a USB port, a Rockford Fosgate amplifier, Polk Audio speakers, and an 8″ Sound Ordinance subwoofer.
The dashboard houses blue-backlit Speedhut gauges including a digital odometer showing just under 5,000 miles. Total chassis mileage is unknown. A Detroit Speed windshield wiper motor has been fitted, with the seller noting that the wipers rub on the cowl hood.
A 350ci Vortec V8 was reportedly stroked to 383ci fewer than 5k miles ago. The engine is shown running above, and a cold start video is also provided. Details of the engine build and additional modifications consist of:
