This 1971 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 was acquired by the seller in 2012 and subsequent work consisted of installing a BluePrint Engines 383ci V8 and changing the interior color to black. The car is finished in yellow with black stripes and is equipped with Turbo 400 three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, power front disc brakes, rear traction bars, front and rear sway bars, and 17″ Foose wheels along with an MSD billet distributor, a Flame Thrower III ignition coil, an Edelbrock intake manifold, a Holley four-barrel carburetor, and Hedman headers. This Camaro is now offered in Canada with a spare 350ci V8, a factory assembly manual, service records, and British Columbia registration.
The car is finished in yellow with black stripes and is said to have been repainted under previous ownership. Features include chrome bumpers, a rear spoiler, polished rocker moldings, and Z28 badging. The paint is scratched above the Z28 badge on the left fender and is bubbling around the left rear wheel opening, and the hood fits poorly.
The 17″ chrome Foose wheels are mounted with 255/45 Sumitomo HTRZII tires. The car is fitted with power steering, rear traction bars, and front and rear sway bars. Braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.
The cabin is trimmed in black and interior equipment includes a heater and defroster, horseshoe-style shifter, Delco push-button radio, and faux woodgrain accents on the dashboard and center console. The seller notes that the door locks should be changed.
The four-spoke steering wheel frames a 150-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and three auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 25k miles, approximately 1,500 of which have been added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The replacement BluePrint Engines 383ci V8 was installed under current ownership and features an MSD billet distributor, a PerTronix Flame Thrower III ignition coil, an Edelbrock intake manifold, a Holley four-barrel carburetor, and Hedman headers. Cooling is handled by an aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. The carburetor is said to have been adjusted in October 2022.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a Turbo 400 three-speed automatic transmission and a 10-bolt rear axle with a Moser differential cover. A dual exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers terminates before the rear axle.
A spare 350ci V8, factory assembly manual, and service records are included in the sale.
