This 1970 Chevrolet Nova was purchased by the current owner in 2009 and underwent a subsequent refurbishment, which involved repairing and repainting the car blue with dual white stripes as well as re-trimming the interior in black. The 350ci V8 was overbored, rebuilt, and fitted with Hooker exhaust headers, a K&N air cleaner, and an Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold and cylinder heads in 2023. Shifting is through a four-speed manual transmission, and the car features a Hurst shifter along with aftermarket front bucket seats, 15″ Cragar S/S wheels, a cowl hood, a column-mounted tachometer, and an Eaton limited-slip differential. This modified Nova is now offered with photos from the engine rebuild and a clean New Jersey title in the name of the seller’s spouse.
The third-generation Chevrolet Nova was built between 1968 to 1974, and the side marker lights and taillight lenses were revised for the 1970 model year. Chrome-finished 15″ Cragar S/S wheels are mounted with BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel drum brakes. The ball joints and shocks were reportedly replaced in 2019.
The cabin features aftermarket front bucket seats upholstered in black cloth along with a rear bench trimmed in black vinyl. Equipment includes a Hurst shifter, front lap belts, polished Fisher-branded door sill plates, and crank windows. Holes are cut on each side of the front carpeting, and the headliner is wrinkled.
