The car was acquired by the seller in 2018, and subsequent work consisted of installing the replacement engine, electronic fuel injection, EFI-style fuel tank, and fuel lines. This Chevelle SS is now offered with a General Motors of Canada build datasheet, manufacturer’s literature, service records, and a clean Colorado title in the seller’s name.
The body is finished in silver with black hood and decklid stripes and is said to have been repainted under previous ownership. The 15″ Super Sport wheels wear chrome trim rings and SS center caps and are mounted with 255/60 front and 275/60 rear Cooper Cobra Radial G/T white-letter tires. A full-size spare is mounted in the trunk. The car is fitted with Hotchkis Sport Suspension tubular front control arms and power-assisted steering. Braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in black vinyl joined by a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Equipment includes a center console, Hurst shifter, Holley Sniper EFI touchscreen controller, Vintage Air climate control, retractable lap belts, Focal speakers, and a retro-style digital stereo. The headlight control knob is missing.
The two-spoke SS steering wheel frames a Dakota Digital 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer indicates 4k miles, all of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
