This 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle was refurbished and modified during previous ownership and was acquired by the seller in 2016. Work during the refurbishment included a repaint in gray with black stripes, refreshing the interior with black leather upholstery, and installing a 454ci V8. A five-speed manual transmission, aftermarket stereo, and replacement wiring harness are said to have been installed under current ownership. Additional equipment includes a cowl induction hood, power-assisted disc brakes, 20″ Boss Motorsports wheels, aftermarket gauges, air conditioning, and a Hurst shifter. This modified Chevelle is now offered with a clean California title in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in gray with black over-the-top stripes outlined in orange. Features include shaved door handles, side markers, and rocker trim, body-color bumpers and mirrors, SS 454 badging, blacked-out taillights, and dual exhaust outlets. Paint scratches are shown up close in the photo gallery, and exhaust stains are visible on the rear bumper.
20″ Boss Motorsports wheels are finished in black with polished lips and red stripes and are wrapped in 245/35 front and 275/30 rear Lionhart LH-Three tires. The car rides on a lowered suspension with aftermarket springs and shocks and is equipped with power steering and Hotchkiss front and rear sway bars. Braking is from four-wheel discs with drilled slotted rotors all around.
The cabin is upholstered in black and features leather seating with suede inserts along with a matching leather dashboard, suede headliner, carpets, and floor mats. Additional features include a custom console with cup holders, power windows, a Hurst shifter, and Vintage Air climate control. An aftermarket stereo and subwoofer were reportedly installed during current ownership.
A three-spoke steering wheel frames Dakota Digital instrumentation consisting of a 160-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The digital odometer shows 1k miles, and approximately 1,500 were added by the seller. Total mileage is unknown.
The fuel-injected 454ci V8 is said to have been overbored and installed under previous ownership. It is equipped with an Edelbrock Performer RPM intake manifold, custom valve covers, and exhaust headers. The wiring harness was reportedly replaced under current ownership.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission that is said to have been installed under current ownership.
