This 1970 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 was acquired by the seller approximately seven years ago and is finished in orange with black stripes over a black interior. Power comes from a numbers-matching 350ci LT1 V8 paired with a Muncie M21 four-speed manual transmission, and additional equipment includes front and rear lip spoilers, split chrome front bumpers, Z28 badging, and 15” alloy wheels. Recent maintenance has reportedly included a tune-up and oil change along with valve and steering box adjustments. This Camaro is being offered with a car cover and a clean Washington title in the seller’s name.
Finished from the factory in Hugger Orange (65), the car was repainted over two decades ago. Exterior features include a blacked-out front grille, black over-the-top racing stripes, front and rear lip spoilers, split chrome front bumpers, and Z28 badging. Dents in the hood are noted by the seller, along with a ripple in the paint on the driver’s door.
The 15” alloy wheels feature gray-painted centers with polished trim rings and are mounted with 235/60 BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires that are said to have been installed approximately 2k miles ago. The seller notes that the steering box has been recently adjusted.
The cabin features seats trimmed in black vinyl along with a matching dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Lap belts are fitted for all occupants, and amenities include a center console as well as an aftermarket AM/FM stereo wired to a trunk-mounted CD changer. The seller reports that the analog clock is inoperable and notes an area of wear on the driver’s seat back.
A two-spoke steering wheel with faux-woodgrain accents sits ahead of instrumentation including a 150-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 83k miles, around 2k of which have been added during current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The 350ci LT1 V8 features a four-barrel carburetor and was factory rated at 360 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque. The seller notes a recent tune up along with an oil change and valve adjustment. Various oil leaks are reported.
Engine stamping 10L517464 shown above matches the last six digits of the chassis number. The engine suffix code (CTB) shown in the gallery indicates a 350ci LT1 V8 for the Z28 special performance package in conjunction with a manual transmission.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Muncie M21 four-speed manual transmission. The exhaust system is said to have been replaced around 2k miles ago, and additional underbody photos are provided in the gallery below.
