This 1970 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 is said to have been refurbished under previous ownership and is powered by a 350ci V8 linked to a four-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip rear end. The car is finished in red with black stripes over beige vinyl upholstery, and equipment includes a rear spoiler, a dual exhaust system, power-assisted front disc brakes, 15″ Rally wheels, a floor-mounted shifter, an AM push-button radio, and front and rear lap belts. This Z28 was recently acquired by the selling dealer and is offered with manufacturer’s literature, a Protect-O-Plate, a hand-written service log, partial service records, spare parts, and expired New York registration.
Finished from the factory in Cranberry Red (75), the car was repainted under previous ownership. Features include black stripes, a front bumper lip, a COPO-style rear spoiler, chrome bumpers, body-color sport mirrors, Z28 badging, and dual exhaust outlets.
Gray 15″ Rally wheels wear bright trim rings and are mounted with size F60-15 Goodyear Polyglas GT white-letter tires, while a full-size spare is stored in the trunk. Braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in beige vinyl with perforated inserts joined by a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Equipment includes a floor-mounted shifter, front headrests, lap belts, polished door sills, hand-crank windows, and an AM push-button radio.
A two-spoke steering wheel frames a 150-mph speedometer, a tachometer, an analog clock, and gauges for fuel level and amperage. The five-digit odometer shows 35k miles, approximately 30 of which were added by the selling dealer.
The 350ci LT1 V8 breathes through a four-barrel carburetor and features a black air cleaner assembly with a chrome lid above finned valve covers and an orange-finished engine block. The selling dealer states that the oil was changed in preparation for the sale.
The engine block stamping shown above ends in 91362, which matches the last five digits of the vehicle’s serial number. The “CTB” suffix stamped on the block can be seen in the gallery below and indicates a 350ci LT1 V8 for the Z28 special performance package in conjunction with a manual transmission.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Muncie four-speed manual transmission and a 12-bolt rear end equipped with a 3.73:1 limited-slip differential.
Manufacturer’s literature, a Protect-O-Plate, a hand-written service log, partial service records, and spare parts are included in the sale.
The car does not have a title, as it is registered in a state that does not issue titles for a vehicle of its age. It is being sold on its expired registration.
