This 1970 Chevrolet Camaro was acquired by the seller in 2014 and subsequently refurbished and modified by GQ Creations-Auto of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. Work included a repaint in red with black stripes along with the installation of a 408ci V8, a four-speed automatic transmission, power-adjustable front bucket seats, Proforged steering components, Hotchkis Performance control arms, shock absorbers, and subframe connectors, adjustable front coilovers, and Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes. Additional equipment includes a cowl induction hood, front and rear spoilers, LED headlights, power steering, 18″ Foose wheels, an Edelbrock intake manifold and cylinder heads, a Holley Sniper EFI system, a MOMO steering wheel, Dakota Digital instrumentation, Vintage Air climate control, power windows, a B&M shifter, and a Sony CD stereo. This modified Camaro is now offered with refurbishment receipts and transferrable New York registration.
The body was repainted in red under current ownership, and additional details include black stripes on the cowl hood and decklid as well as front and rear spoilers, Z28 badging, LED headlights, body-color sport mirrors, black-finished bumpers, tinted windows, and a dual-outlet exhaust system. There are paint chips on the grille and front fascia.
Black 18″ Foose wheels are mounted with Sumitomo HTR ZII tires measuring 245/40 up front and 275/35 out back. The car has been fitted with Proforged steering components, Hotchkis Performance control arms, shock absorbers, and subframe connectors, adjustable front coilovers, lowering springs, and front and rear sway bars. Braking is handled by power-assisted Wilwood disc brakes featuring slotted and drilled rotors.
The cabin features power-adjustable front bucket seats and a contoured rear bench trimmed in black leather upholstery. Equipment includes a center console, Vintage Air climate control, a Holley Sniper EFI touchscreen controller, a B&M shifter, power windows, and a Sony CD stereo.
The leather-wrapped MOMO steering wheel is mounted to a tilting column and frames Dakota Digital instrumentation consisting of a speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, battery voltage, and oil pressure. The digital odometer indicates 452 miles. Total mileage is unknown.
The replacement 408ci V8 was installed under current ownership and features a Holley Sniper EFI system and a serpentine drive system with polished pulleys as well as an Edelbrock intake manifold and cylinder heads, tubular exhaust headers, and an HEI-style distributor. An aluminum radiator with Derale electric cooling fans has been fitted. An oil change was performed in April 2023.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a replacement four-speed automatic transmission. A stainless-steel aftermarket dual exhaust system has been installed.
The car does not have a title, as it is registered in a state that does not issue titles for vehicles of its age. It is being sold on its transferrable New York registration document.
