This 1970 Chevrolet Camaro was the subject of a pro-touring build completed by the selling dealer between 2017 and 2019 that included the installation of a 572ci GM Performance V8 crate engine paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. The car was refinished in Mulsanne Blue with black stripes over a black leather interior equipped with C6 Z06-sourced power-adjustable seats, a Nardi steering wheel, Vintage Air air conditioning, power windows, and a custom sound system. Other modifications include a Heidts front subframe, a coilover suspension, staggered Boze forged wheels, Wilwood brakes, a DeWitts radiator, long-tube headers, and a Currie 9″ rear end. This Camaro is now offered by the selling dealer with a clean Pennsylvania title.
The car was refurbished by County Corvette of West Chester, Pennsylvania, and was refinished in Mulsanne Blue with black stripes on the hood and trunk. Equipment includes painted mirror caps, a rear spoiler, Fesler taillights, chrome bumpers and window surrounds, and dual exhaust outlets. Z28 badging is present on the fenders and at the rear.
Boze forged double-spoke three-piece alloys measure 19″ up front and 20″ at the rear and are fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport tires. Modifications are said to include a Heidts front subframe, power steering, a coilover suspension, a Wilwood master cylinder and brake calipers, drilled and slotted rotors, and a Hydratech hydraulic power brake system.
The power-adjustable front seats were sourced from a C6 Z06 and are trimmed in black leather with suede-like inserts and blue stitching, and the rear bench has been upholstered to match. Dynamat insulation is fitted beneath the black carpets, and replacement wiring was installed throughout. Other equipment includes a locking center console, Nu Relics power windows, a Vintage Air air-conditioning system, and a custom sound system.
The three-spoke leather-wrapped Nardi steering wheel fronts Dakota Digital gauges. The digital odometer shows less than 100 miles, which is said to represent the distance covered since the refurbishment.
The GM Performance 572ci V8 crate engine was installed during the refurbishment and sends power to the rear wheels through a Supermatic 4L85-E four-speed automatic transmission and a Currie 9″ Ford rear end. Other equipment includes a Vintage Air Front Runner serpentine system, a custom driveshaft, a DeWitts radiator with electric fans, Lemons long-tube headers, and a stainless steel exhaust system.
