This 1969 Chevrolet Nova was acquired by the seller in 2021, and a 350ci V8 linked with a four-speed manual transmission and a 12-bolt rear axle with 3.73:1 gears was installed during a subsequent two-year refurbishment. Additional work included replacing the fuel tank, heater core, portions of the rear quarter panels, and the trunk and left floor pans, applying a clear coat finish to the body, retrimming the interior, repairing the instrument cluster, and installing a quick ratio power steering box, tubular front upper and lower control arms, front and rear springs, and BFGoodrich tires. The car is finished in green over green vinyl upholstery and has SS badging, a Hurst shifter, power front disc brakes, 15″ Rally-style wheels, an Edelbrock intake manifold, a Holley 650-cfm carburetor, an HEI distributor, an aluminum radiator, long-tube exhaust headers, and a dual exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers. This Nova is now offered with an Arizona title in the seller’s name.
The car left the factory finished in Frost Lime (59) and a clear coat finish is said to have been applied under current ownership. Details include SS and 350 badging, fender louvers, black side moldings, dual side mirrors, and chrome bumpers.
Rally-style 15″ wheels wear chrome trim rings and center caps and are mounted with BFGoodrich Radial T/A white-letter tires measuring 215/60 up front and 245/60 out back. The car has been fitted with a quick ratio power steering box, tubular front upper and lower control arms, and replacement springs. Braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.
The front and rear bench seats have been reupholstered in green vinyl joined by a color-coordinated dashboard, headliner, carpeting, and door panels. Equipment includes a Hurst shifter, a heater and defroster, and front lap belts.
The replacement 350ci V8 was installed under current ownership and is said to have been fitted with a two-bolt cast crankshaft, a double roller timing chain, an Edelbrock hydraulic camshaft, cast flat-top pistons, screw-in head studs, rebuilt cylinder heads, roller tip rockers, and replacement pushrods. Additional equipment includes an Edelbrock Performer RPM intake manifold, a Holley 650-cfm carburetor, an HEI distributor, a Tuff Stuff one-wire alternator, a high-torque starter motor, long-tube exhaust headers, a replacement fuel tank, and an aluminum radiator, valve covers and breathers. The vehicle’s chassis number indicates that it left the factory equipped with a four-cylinder engine.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a 12-bolt rear axle with 3.73:1 gears, that were reportedly rebuilt under current ownership. A dual exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers has been installed.
The Arizona title lists a “Not Actual” odometer reading notation.
