This 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle sport coupe underwent a refurbishment that was completed around 2021 under prior ownership before the seller acquired the car out of California in mid-2023. Finished in yellow with black stripes over parchment vinyl upholstery, the car is powered by a 396ci V8 linked to a Muncie four-speed manual transmission and a 12-bolt rear axle with 3.55:1 gears. Equipment includes SS badging, Super Sport–style 14″ wheels, power-assisted front disc brakes, power steering, dual exhaust, an aftermarket camshaft, a center console, and a Hurst shifter. This Chevelle is now offered in California with a clean Arizona title in the seller’s name.
The car left the factory in Butternut Yellow (40) and was refinished with black stripes as part of the aforementioned refurbishment. Exterior features include dual side mirrors, quad headlights, SS and 396 badging, and chrome trim on the bumpers, grille, wheel arches, and window surrounds.
Super Sport–style 14″ wheels wear 225/70 BFGoodrich Radial T/A white-letter tires. A non-matching spare wheel is located in the trunk. Equipment includes power steering, power-assisted front disc and rear drum brakes, and a rear sway bar.
The front bucket seats and rear bench are upholstered in parchment vinyl and complemented by matching door and side panels. Interior equipment includes a center console, three-point seatbelts for the front occupants, a Hurst shifter, a heater, and bright doorsill protectors.
The two-spoke steering wheel has an SS center emblem and fronts a 120-mph speedometer, a fuel-level gauge, and warning lights. The five-digit odometer shows 49k miles, approximately 200 of which have been added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The 396ci V8 was reportedly rebuilt as part of the refurbishment and features a Holley carburetor, an aftermarket camshaft, aftermarket exhaust headers, and chrome valve covers.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a 12-bolt rear end with 3.55:1 gears. The dual exhaust system utilizes Flowmaster mufflers and an H-pipe.
