This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 coupe was sold new at Jimmie Green Chevrolet of Houston, Texas, and was awarded Legend Certification from the American Camaro Association in 2021 following a refurbishment completed under previous ownership in 2018. The car is finished in Hugger Orange with black stripes and wears a black vinyl roof, a cowl induction hood, retractable headlights, and front and rear spoilers. Inside, black vinyl–trimmed seats are accompanied by a woodgrain-rimmed steering wheel, a Hurst shifter, and a Delco AM radio. Power is supplied by a 302ci V8 fitted with a Holley 4053 four-barrel carburetor, while shifting is through a Muncie M21 four-speed manual transmission linked with a 12-bolt rear axle with a Positraction differential. Further equipment includes 15″ Rally wheels, front disc brakes, and power-assisted steering along with four-into-one headers and a chambered dual exhaust system. Acquired by the current owner in 2022, this Camaro Z/28 coupe is now offered on dealer consignment with an NCRS Shipping Data Report, a MacNeish Report, a MacNeish Certificate of Authenticity, an American Camaro Association “Legend” plaque, and a clean Pennsylvania title.
The car left the factory finished in Hugger Orange with black stripes and was repainted as part of the refurbishment performed under prior ownership. Further details include a black vinyl roof, a cowl induction hood, retractable headlights, front and rear spoilers, and rear bumper guards.
The 15″ Rally wheels are mounted with 205/75 Goodyear Wide Tread GT tires. The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is handled by front discs and rear drums.
The re-trimmed cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in black vinyl. Woodgrain trim adorns the dash and center console, and additional interior appointments include a Delco AM radio, a heater, and lap belts for five occupants.
The woodgrain-rimmed steering wheel fronts an analog clock flanked by a 120-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline. Additional auxiliary gauges are mounted ahead of the Hurst shifter. The five-digit odometer shows 3k miles, and total mileage is unknown.
The 302ci Z28 V8 was factory rated at 290 horsepower. It is equipped with a Holley 4053 four-barrel carburetor as well as aftermarket four-into-one exhaust headers.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Muncie M21 four-speed manual transmission and a 12-bolt rear end with an optional Positraction differential. The car is further equipped with a chambered dual exhaust system.
