This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 coupe is powered by a 302ci V8 mated to a Muncie four-speed manual transmission and is finished in silver with black stripes over black vinyl upholstery. Equipment includes a Positraction rear axle, 15″ Rally-style wheels, front and rear spoilers, chrome trim, a center console, and a push-button radio. The car is said to have been refurbished under prior ownership and acquired by the current owner in 2022. The radiator, valve cover gaskets, and spark plugs were replaced in February 2022. This Z/28 is now offered in New Jersey by the seller on behalf of the owner with a Maryland title in the owner’s name.
The body was finished from the factory in Cortez Silver and is said to have been refinished in its current scheme of silver with black stripes as part of the aforementioned refurbishment. Equipment includes a sculpted hood, front and rear spoilers, and Z/28 badging along with chrome trim, bumpers, and dual side mirrors. Work completed in February 2022 included repairing and repainting the rear lower valance in addition to repairing steering column wiring and replacing the horn relay and horns.
Rally-style 15″ wheels are finished in silver with bright trim rings and are wrapped in 235/60 BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. The front disc and rear drum brakes were serviced in February 2022.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in black vinyl along with coordinating door panels and carpets. Equipment includes a center console, woodgrain trim, three-point front seatbelts, and a push-button radio.
The two-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer and a tachometer, while auxiliary gauges are mounted in the center console ahead of the shifter. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 58k miles, fewer than 500 of which were added under current ownership.
The 302ci V8 is equipped with a four-barrel carburetor and finned valve covers. Service completed in February 2022 included replacing the radiator, valve cover gaskets, and spark plugs in addition to changing the oil.
