This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 is a coupe example that was acquired by the seller in fall 1999. The car is finished in orange with black stripes over black vinyl upholstery and is powered by a 302ci V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Features include a limited-slip rear end, a cowl-induction hood, a vinyl roof, front and rear spoilers, exposed headlights, 15″ Rally wheels, power front disc brakes, a center console with auxiliary gauges, and a push-button AM radio. This Z/28 is offered with manufacturer’s literature, a photo CD, and a clean Minnesota title in the seller’s name.
Finished from the factory in LeMans Blue (71), the car was repainted its current shade of orange with black stripes under previous ownership. Exterior features include a black vinyl roof, a cowl-induction hood, exposed headlights, chrome bumpers and side mirrors, front and rear spoilers, Z/28 badging, and dual exhausts.
Silver-painted Rally wheels feature bright trim rings and hubcaps and are mounted with 215/70 BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. Stopping is provided by power-assisted front disc and rear drum brakes. A full-size spare is stored in the trunk.
The cabin features front bucket seats trimmed in black vinyl along with a matching rear bench, door panels, and carpets. Equipment includes lap belts, a center console, an aluminum shift knob, and a push-button AM radio.
A four-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and an analog clock. Auxiliary gauges mounted in the center console display oil pressure, amperage, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 48k miles, approximately 6k of which have been added during current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The 302ci V8 shows stamping *19N548291* and is equipped with a four-barrel carburetor and finned-aluminum valve covers. The oil was changed in 2021.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a 12-bolt limited-slip differential. The transmission and differential lubricants were changed in 2021 and additional underbody images are provided in the gallery below.
