Power is provided by a 302ci V8 linked to a four-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. A cowl induction system is accompanied by an HEI distributor, a Holley four-barrel carburetor, and Hooker exhaust headers, and additional equipment includes a Hurst shifter, a center console, an AM radio, and front and rear spoilers. This Z/28 was reportedly purchased by the current owner from the first owner in 2012, and it is now offered by the seller on behalf of the owner with a transferable New York registration document.

The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in black vinyl as well as a center console, a Hurst shifter, and woodgrain trim accents. The carpets are worn and faded, and the steering wheel wears an aftermarket wrap on the rim.
Instrumentation includes a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer, a clock, and various warning lamps. Auxiliary gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, battery status, and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 75k miles, approximately 1k of which were added under current ownership.
