This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 is finished in Lemans Blue with black stripes over a black interior and is powered by a replacement 302ci V8 paired with a Muncie four-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes Vintage Air climate control, power steering, a dual-chambered exhaust, a rosewood steering wheel, and a Hurst shifter, as well as 15″ rally-style wheels, Holley Cross-Ram induction, front and rear spoilers, power four-wheel disc brakes, and a cowl hood. The car was acquired by the owner in 2018 after a refurbishment was completed under prior ownership. This Camaro Z/28 is offered by the seller on behalf of the owner with a South Carolina title.
Originally Cortez Silver, the car was repainted in Lemans Blue with black stripes during previous ownership. Features include a steel cowl hood, chrome bumpers, front and rear spoilers, dual mirrors, Z/28 badging, and a dual-outlet chambered exhaust system.
Silver-painted 15″ Rally wheels wear polished trim rings and hub caps and are mounted with 245/60 Mickey Thompson Sportsman S/T white-letter tires. The car is equipped with power steering and braking is handled by power-assisted four-wheel discs that were installed under previous ownership. The JL8 rear disc brake components have been added during previous ownership.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in black vinyl along with a matching dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Equipment includes Vintage Air climate control, wood accents, crank windows, a radio delete panel, a Hurst shifter, and lap belts for all occupants.
The rosewood steering wheel fronts a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and an analog clock. Additional gauges showing fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and battery voltage are mounted in the center console in front of the shifter. The five-digit odometer shows 37k miles, approximately 2k of which have been added by the owner. Total mileage is unknown.
The replacement 302ci V8 features a Holley Cross-Ram induction system, and an MSD electronic ignition box and ignition coil. The engine has been re-stamped as outlined in the August 2021 Jerry MacNeish appraisal. The cross-ram intake and exhaust manifolds were added during previous ownership.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a replacement four-speed manual transmission and a replacement 12-bolt rear axle.
