This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro convertible is equipped with the Z11 Indy Sport package, which added unique bodywork, trim, and decals that replicated features of the Camaro pace cars used at the 1969 Indianapolis 500. The car was built on May 2, 1969 and delivered to Mosteller Chevrolet of Chatsworth, Georgia, and is said to have undergone a mechanical and cosmetic refurbishment approximately five years ago. The body is finished in Dover White with orange stripes over an orange interior with houndstooth accents, and power comes from a numbers-matching 350ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes a power-operated white soft top, an orange boot cover, factory air conditioning, a limited-slip differential, an AM radio, a center console, and power-assisted front disc brakes. The selling dealer acquired the car in 2020, and in preparation for the sale an oil change was performed. This Z11 Camaro convertible is now offered with an owner’s manual, an NCRS shipping data report, and a clean Ohio title.
The car is said to have been refurbished approximately five years ago, including a repaint in its factory Dover White. Equipment includes Z11-exclusive graphics, front and rear spoilers, and a cowl-induction hood, along with hidden headlights, a body-color front bumper, and a chrome rear bumper. The seller has provided video of the power top function, and an orange top boot is included in the sale and shown above.
Factory 14″ Rally wheels with polished trim rings and center caps wear Goodyear Polyglas FR70 tires, and braking power is supplied by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.
The cabin was retrimmed in its factory orange vinyl upholstery with houndstooth fabric inserts on the seats, along with matching door panels and contrasting black carpets and trim. Amenities include air conditioning, lap belts, a center console with a four-gauge cluster, a basket-handle shifter, and an AM radio.
The wood-rimmed three-spoke steering wheel frames a tachometer and a 120-mph speedometer. The five-digit odometer shows 3,600 miles, with true mileage unknown.
The numbers-matching 350ci V8 was factory rated at 300 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque and received an oil change in preparation for sale. An engine stamping photo in the gallery below shows the number N638336, which corresponds to the last seven digits of the vehicle’s chassis number.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed Turbo Hydramatic 350 automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. Additional underside photos are presented in the gallery below.
