This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro coupe was refurbished in the style of a Yenko Super Camaro in 2020, after which it was purchased by the owner in 2021. A 427ci V8 was installed along with a Muncie four-speed manual transmission, and the body was refinished in red with white Yenko graphics. The interior was re-trimmed in black vinyl, Stewart-Warner auxiliary gauges were installed, and the brakes were converted to four-wheel discs. Additional equipment includes a Hurst shifter, a cowl induction hood, a dual exhaust system, and 15″ steel wheels with redline tires. This Camaro coupe is now offered on dealer consignment with a clean Montana title.
The body was refinished in Garnet Red during the refurbishment and features a cowl induction hood, front and rear spoilers, and white Yenko/SC stripes. The selling dealer states the grille, weatherstripping, and bumpers were replaced.
The 15″ steel wheels wear chrome center caps and are wrapped in 235/60 Turbo-Tech G/T Radial redline tires. The car is equipped with power steering as well as power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench reupholstered in black vinyl, and the front headrests have Yenko/SC markings. Interior appointments include an AM/FM radio, a Hurst shifter, and retractable front lap belts.
The two-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer and a fuel-level gauge as well as a Stewart-Warner tachometer mounted on the steering column. Three additional Stewart-Warner gauges are mounted below the dashboard. The five-digit odometer shows under 1k miles, which is said to be the mileage driven since the completion of the refurbishment.
The 427ci V8 was installed during the build completed in 2020, and it is equipped with an aluminum intake manifold, a four-barrel carburetor, and chrome valve covers with Yenko decals.
The stamping on the replacement engine is shown above. The MN suffix corresponds with a 425-horsepower, 427ci L72 V8 for use with a four-speed manual transmission. Casting number 3963512 is pictured in the gallery below.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Muncie four-speed manual transmission and a Positraction differential.
