This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro was produced at GM’s Norwood, Ohio, facility and was acquired by the current owner, a licensed New Jersey dealer, in 2019. The car is powered by a 427ci V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission, and it is finished in red over black vinyl upholstery. American Autowire replacement wiring has reportedly been installed, and additional equipment includes a cowl induction hood, front and rear spoilers, a Hurst shifter, and a 12-bolt Positraction rear end as well as Flowmaster mufflers, front disc brakes, and 15″ steel wheels. This modified Camaro coupe is now offered on dealer consignment in New Jersey with a clean Washington State title.
Finished from the factory in Butternut Yellow (40-40), the car was repainted in red during previous ownership according to the seller. Features include a cowl induction hood, a front lip spoiler, a rear deck spoiler, and chrome-finished bumpers and rocker panel moldings. Close-up photos of the paintwork, badging, taillights, glass, and other trim are included in the gallery below.
Color-matched steel wheels wear chrome hub covers and reproduction F70-15 Firestone Wide Oval tires with raised white letters. Braking is handled by power-assisted discs up front and finned drums at the rear.
A standard black (711) interior treatment is carried throughout, including the vinyl bucket seat upholstery, rear bench, carpeting, door panels, and dashboard. The car is equipped with a Hurst shifter, manually-operated windows, and safety belts for the front and rear passengers.
Instrumentation consists of a 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and Stewart-Warner supplementary gauges mounted below the dashboard. The five-digit odometer shows approximately 296 miles, which is said to reflect the distance traveled since the refurbishment. Total mileage is unknown.
A 427ci V8 was installed during prior ownership and has been fitted with a period-style air cleaner housing. An aftermarket fan is installed, and the dual exhaust system is equipped with Flowmaster mufflers.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a 12-bolt rear end equipped with a Positraction limited-slip differential and 3.73:1 gearing. Additional photos showing the suspension, chassis, and driveline are presented in the gallery below.
