This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro coupe was refurbished under prior ownership in the style of a COPO ZL1 Camaro, and work included repainting the body, reupholstering the interior, and installing a 427ci V8, a Muncie four-speed manual transmission, and a 12-bolt rear axle with a limited-slip differential. The car is finished in red over red vinyl upholstery and equipment includes a cowl induction hood, power steering, power-assisted front disc brakes, 15″ body-color steel wheels, power steering, a Hurst shifter, a Rockford Fosgate amplifier, aftermarket speakers, and a concealed Bluetooth audio receiver. This Camaro was acquired by the selling dealer in 2022 and is now offered with a clean Texas title.
The car left the factory finished in Garnet Red (52) and is said to have been repainted under prior ownership. Features include a cowl induction hood, polished rocker moldings, chrome bumpers, rear bumper overriders, and dual exhaust outlets.
Body-colored steel wheels wear bow-tie hubcaps and are mounted with BFGoodrich Radial T/A white-letter tires measuring 215/65 up front and 245/60 out back. The car is equipped with power steering and braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.
The front bucket seats and rear bench are trimmed in red vinyl upholstery joined by a color-coordinated dashboard, headliner, door panels, and carpets. Equipment includes a center console, a Hurst shifter, rubber Chevrolet-branded floormats, a Rockford Fosgate amplifier, aftermarket speakers, and a concealed Bluetooth audio receiver. Sound-deadening material was reportedly applied to interior surfaces as well as the inside of the decklid and rear quarter panels.
The car left the factory with an inline-six, and the aluminum 427ci V8 is said to have been installed during the refurbishment and fitted with Diamond Racing pistons, a Comp Cams hydraulic roller camshaft, a Callies crankshaft and connecting rods, a Winters intake manifold and cylinder heads, and ported exhaust manifolds. Additional features include a Holley 850 CFM carburetor, a cowl air induction system, and chrome valve covers.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Muncie four-speed manual transmission and a 12-bolt rear axle said to be fitted with an Eaton limited-slip differential and 3.42:1 gears. Moser axles are reportedly fitted. Corrosion is visible on the rear leaf springs and drum brakes.
