This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro coupe was acquired around 20 years ago by the seller and was refurbished in 2008, including the installation of a replacement front clip and a bare-metal repaint in red with white stripes. A 350ci V8 crate engine was installed in 2020, and additional equipment includes an Edelbrock carburetor and intake manifold, Turbo-Hydramatic three-speed automatic transmission, Baer front disc brakes, lowering springs, white vinyl low-back front seats, a JVC CD stereo with Bluetooth connectivity, 15” American Racing Torq Thrust wheels, Autometer instrumentation, and SS badging. This Camaro is now offered with a clean California title in the seller’s name.
Finished from the factory in LeMans Blue (71), the car was fitted with a replacement front clip and received a bare-metal repaint in red with white stripes around 2008. Exterior details include a cowl-induction hood, rear lip spoiler, dual exhaust outlets, fog lights, and SS badging. Various scratches are noted by the seller, along with an intermittent trunk lock.
The 15” American Racing Torq Thrust wheels are mounted with 225/60 BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. A full-size spare is found in the trunk. Braking is via front discs with Baer calipers and drilled and slotted rotors along with rear drums. The car has been fitted with Hotchkis 2″ lowering springs and the seller notes that the front tires rub the fenders on full lock to the left.
The cabin is trimmed in Ivory vinyl and houses low-back front bucket seats reportedly sourced from a 1967 Camaro, along with a matching rear bench and door panels. The floors are lined with black carpets, and appointment include a JVC CD stereo with Bluetooth connectivity, three-point front seat belts, rear lap belts, and faux-woodgrain trim on the center console.
A Grant GT steering wheel sits ahead of a body-color metal dashboard housing a custom gauge cluster with AutoMeter Pro-Comp instrumentation that includes a 160-mph speedometer, a 10k-rpm tachometer, auxiliary gauges, and a five-digit odometer that shows 6k miles. The seller notes that the speedometer intermittently functions, and total mileage is unknown.
The 350ci V8 crate engine was installed in 2020 and features an Edelbrock Performer intake manifold, an Edelbrock carburetor, and a Flowmaster exhaust. The wiring harness is also said to have been replaced in 2020.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a Turbo-Hydramatic three-speed automatic transmission. Additional underbody photos are provided in the gallery below.
