This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro was refurbished and modified under previous ownership by Chris Holstrom Concepts of Puyallup, Washington. Finished in white over red leather, the car is powered by a Magnuson-supercharged 416ci LS3 V8 mated to a six-speed manual transmission and a Strange Engineering 9” rear end with a 3.89:1 Eaton Trutrac differential. Additional equipment includes Art Morrison front and rear subframes, Strange Engineering coilovers, staggered-diameter Forgeline wheels, and Baer four-wheel disc brakes as well as a Vintage Air climate control system, power windows, power steering, and Dakota Digital instrumentation. The car was acquired by the selling dealer in February 2023, and subsequent service involved replacing the steering rack, tuning the Holley EFI system, installing a rear spoiler, and mounting replacement tires. This modified Camaro is now offered with a recent service invoice, 2023 dynamometer test results, and a clean Massachusetts title.
Bodywork performed during the aforementioned refurbishment by Ewing Kustoms of Sumner, Washington, involved modifying the hood, quarter panels, and tail panel, which features a billet aluminum fuel filler. The badging and side marker lights were removed, while the front and rear bumpers were smooted, tucked, and painted. The body was repainted in white, and the glass is said to have been replaced throughout. Further exterior details include a carbon fiber front spoiler, a Kindig-it Design carbon-fiber rear spoiler, and bright window trim as well as Ring Brothers side mirrors and door handles, LED headlights, fog lights, and sequential taillights. A Detroit Speed wiper system was installed by the selling dealer in preparation for the sale.
Gray-finished 18″ and 19″ Forgeline wheels feature polished rims and wear 275/35 front and 325/30 rear Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 tires mounted in June 2023. Art Morrison front and rear subframes feature adjustable Strange Engineering coilovers at all four corners, C6 front control arms, and a triangulated four-link rear suspension set up. Stopping power is provided by red-finished Baer six-piston calipers over drilled and slotted discs, and an E-Stopp electric parking brake is installed, per the selling dealer. The power steering rack was replaced in preparation for the sale.
The interior was refurbished by McFarland Custom Upholstery of Puyallup, Washington, and features modified Corbeau A4 bucket seats trimmed in red leather with black diamond-pleated microsuede inserts that extend to the door panels and rear parcel shelf. Sound deadening material lines the cabin, while black carpets cover the floors, a one-piece headliner is installed, and a diamond-stiched panel replaces the back seat. The Marquez Design dashboard features custom-fabricated air vents linked to a Vintage Air climate control system, and additional appointments include a RideTech roll bar assembly, a black billet shifter, lap belts, and power windows operated via Ford GT-style switches. The start button is for display only.
A carbon-fiber-trimmed Billet Specialties Formula 14″ steering wheel is mounted to an Ididit tilt column and fronts Dakota Digital VHX-1200 instrumentation consisting of a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer shows 314 miles, which is said to reflect the distance traveled since completion of the refurbishment. Total mileage is unknown.
The inner fenders, radiator support, and firewall were fabricated prior to being painted white. The LS3 V8 was stroked to 416ci by Wegner Automotive and topped with a Magnuson supercharger. Equipment includes an aluminum radiator, dual electric fans, and a Holley HP electronic fuel injection system that was tuned in June 2023. The hood pivots on Ring Brothers black billet hinges, and the air intake tube is routed through the left inner fender. Service performed in preparation for the sale involved installing Chevrolet-branded valve covers and replacing an oxygen sensor, the battery, the spark plugs, and the oil pan gasket. A 2023 dynamometer test indicates measured output of 660 horsepower and 648 pound-feet of torque at the rear wheels.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Rockland Standard Gear Tranzilla T56 Magnum 6-speed manual transmission, a custom-fabricated driveshaft, and a Strange Engineering rear end with a 3.89:1 Eaton Trutrac differential. A McLeod dual-disc clutch and a Quick Time bellhousing are installed, and the dual exhaust system features 3″ Dynomax mufflers as well as Speedtech black tubular headers that were ceramic-coated in preparation for the sale. The floors were modified, rear mini tubs were installed, and the underside was painted black with a satin finish. A stainless steel fuel tank is mounted at the rear.
