This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro was modified and refurbished under prior ownership and acquired by the seller in 2015. Subsequent work is said to include retrofitting a Tremec five-speed manual transmission, which is linked to a stroked big-block V8 equipped with fuel injection, MSD ignition, and exhaust cutouts. The car is finished in black with red stripes over black vinyl upholstery and equipped with Vintage Air air conditioning, a center console, folding rear seats, and a Sony stereo with Bluetooth functionality in addition to staggered-diameter wheels, concealed headlights, and front and rear spoilers. This modified Camaro is now offered with a clean Colorado title in the owner’s name.
The car left the factory finished in Glacier Blue and was refinished in its current scheme of black with matte black side stripes and red hood and decklid stripes as part of the refurbishment. Details include a sculpted hood, concealed headlights, chrome side-view mirrors, black-finished bumpers, and front and rear spoilers.
Five-spoke 19″ and 20″ Boze wheels are wrapped in redline tires. The car features power steering, front adjustable coilover suspension, Global West Suspension tubular lower control arms, and QA1 rear shocks. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel power-assisted disc brakes with slotted and cross-drilled rotors.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in black vinyl along with woodgrain trim on the center console. Additional equipment includes Vintage Air air conditioning, a lockable glovebox, a Tremec shift knob, billet aluminum door handles and window cranks, and a Sony head unit with Bluetooth integration.
The aftermarket steering wheel fronts AutoMeter instrumentation including a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The seller notes that the fuel gauge is inaccurate. A controller for the electronic fuel injection system is mounted on the center console. The digital odometer shows 6,200 miles, all of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The seller notes that the big-block V8 was rebuilt during the refurbishment to displace 411ci and is equipped with MSD ignition control, a Fuel Air Spark Technolgy fuel injection system, an Edelbrock performer intake manifold and air cleaner cover, and polished valve covers. The serpentine belt is said to have been replaced under current ownership. A dual exhaust system is fitted with headers, exhaust cutouts, and Flowmaster mufflers.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec five-speed manual transmission and a Positraction rear axle with 3.73:1 gearing, according to the seller.
