This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro was acquired by the seller in August 2018 and subsequently refurbished and modified in 2020. Work is said to have included installing a 383ci stroker V8 mated to a four-speed 700R4 automatic transmission and a Currie 9″ rear end with 3.51:1 gears. The car is finished in red with white stripes over red upholstery, and additional modifications include Billet Specialties 18″ alloy wheels, power-assisted Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes, TCI suspension components, Fox adjustable coilovers, FiTech fuel injection, MSD electronic ignition, tubular headers, a cowl induction hood, Vintage Air HVAC, aftermarket seats, Dakota Digital instrumentation, and a retro-style head unit. This modified Camaro is offered with a car cover, service records, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.
Delivered from the factory in Frost Green (59), the car was reportedly refinished in red with white stripes in 2020. Exterior details include chrome-finished bumpers, a cowl induction hood with “302” badges, dual side mirrors, “Z/28” badging, and dual exhaust outlets. Additional close-up images of the finish and trim are included in the gallery below.
Five-spoke 18″ Billet Specialties wheels are mounted with 225/40 front and 275/35 rear Sumitomo HTR ZIII tires. The brakes and suspension have been modified with the following components:
- Wilwood six-piston front- and four-piston rear calipers
- Two-piece slotted and cross-drilled rotors
- TCI Pro Touring front suspension system
- TCI Torque Arm rear suspension
- Fox adjustable coilovers
The interior features bolstered TMI front and rear seats trimmed in red vinyl with a matching dashboard, door panels, center console, and carpets. Simulated woodgrain trim accents the dash, and amenities include Vintage Air HVAC, power steering, manual side windows, and a retro-style head unit.
An aftermarket steering wheel is mounted on a Flaming River tilt steering column and fronts Dakota Digital instrumentation consisting of 160-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, an analog clock, and digital displays. The odometer indicates 941 miles, which is said to indicate the distance traveled since the completion of the refurbishment. True mileage is unknown.
The 383ci stroker V8 was reportedly installed during current ownership and features FiTech fuel injection, MSD electronic ignition, tubular headers, a dual exhaust system, an aluminum radiator, an American Autowire wiring harness, and Chevrolet-branded valve covers. The battery has been mounted inside the trunk using a Taylor battery relocation kit.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed 700R4 automatic transmission and a Currie 9″ rear end with 3.51:1 gears.
