This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro was reportedly refurbished and modified around 15 years ago, including a repaint in metallic blue with black stripes as well as the installation of a 350ci V8, a Tremec five-speed manual transmission, and 12-bolt Positraction rear end. Features include dark blue vinyl upholstery, a Vintage Air A/C system, front and rear lip spoilers, Z/28 badging, power-assisted front disc brakes, aftermarket wheels, and Detroit Speed rear leaf springs. The car is said to have spent the last 14 years in the seller’s family and was acquired by the seller’s wife in 2017. This modified Camaro is being offered by the seller on behalf of his wife in Redmond, Oregon with a clean California title.
Finished from the factory in Glacier Blue (53), the car is said to have been fitted with replacement rear quarter panels prior to a repaint in its current shade of metallic blue with black stripes around 15 years ago. Exterior features include a cowl hood with 302 badging, front and rear lip spoilers, and Z/28 badging. Various paint imperfections are noted by the seller.
Aftermarket alloy wheels feature black-painted centers with polished lips and are mounted with BFGoodrich tires. Braking is through power-assisted front discs with rear drums. The car has been fitted with Detroit Speed rear leaf springs.
The cabin houses bucket seats with headrests trimmed in dark blue vinyl along with matching door panels and loop carpets. Lap belts are fitted for all occupants, and equipment includes a Vintage Air A/C system, a Hurst shifter, and a center console with faux-woodgrain trim.
A three-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 5k-rpm redline, and an analog clock. The five-digit odometer shows 99k miles, around 3k of which have been added during current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The replacement 350ci V8 sends power to the rear wheels through a Tremec five-speed manual transmission and 12-bolt Positraction differential. The seller notes that the differential was refreshed around two years ago, while work in preparation for the sale included changes of the engine oil and transmission and differential fluids.
