This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro was acquired by the seller in 1996 and underwent a cosmetic and mechanical refurbishment in 2003 that reportedly included overhauling the engine and transmission and refinishing the exterior along with brake and suspension work. The car is finished in Hugger Orange over black vinyl upholstery and is powered by a 350ci V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Features include a black vinyl roof, chrome bumpers, black side stripes, SS badging, a rear spoiler, 15” rally-style wheels, and power-assisted front disc brakes. This Camaro is offered with refurbishment photos, manufacturer’s literature, the removed factory radio, and a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.
The car was factory finished in Hugger Orange (72) and was repainted during the refurbishment, after which a replacement black vinyl top and SS hockey stripes were installed. Additional exterior equipment includes a front air dam, SS badging, chrome bumpers and trim, a rear spoiler, and dual exhaust outlets. Rust bubbles are visible near the vinyl top trim and a scratch on the front left fender can be seen in the gallery below.
Silver 15″ rally-style wheels wear trim rings and hubcaps and are mounted with BFGoodrich Radial T/A white-letter tires. Stopping is provided by power-assisted front discs and rear drums, and the brake lines are said to have been replaced during the refurbishment along with the subframe bushings and various front suspension components.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in black vinyl along with a matching dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Equipment includes a Hurst shifter, a heater/defroster, woodgrain veneer trim on the center console, and an AM/FM radio.
A two-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer and a tachometer, while auxiliary gauges for amperage, fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure are mounted on the center console. The five-digit odometer shows 11k miles, and total mileage is unknown.
The 350ci V8 is said to have been overhauled during the refurbishment, and the fuel lines were reportedly replaced.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. Additional photos of the underside can be seen in the gallery below.
