This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro coupe has been refinished in yellow with black accents over black upholstery, and its 383ci stroker V8 is equipped with an FiTech fuel-injection system. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a four-speed 700R4 automatic transmission, and additional equipment includes a stinger-style hood, a front lip, a rear spoiler, 15″ American Racing wheels, front disc brakes, air conditioning, re-covered bucket seats from a 1998 Camaro, and a radio. The seller acquired the car in 2014, and service during 2020 included installing the fuel-injection system as well as replacing the fuel tank and changing the oil. This Camaro is now offered with an EFI programmer and a clean Kansas title in the seller’s name.
The car has been refinished in yellow with black side stripes and hood accents. Features include chrome-finished bumpers, a fiberglass stinger-style hood, a front lip, and a rear spoiler. The paintwork and exterior trim are shown up close in the photo gallery below, and the seller states water leaks into the trunk when the car is washed.
Gray 15″ American Racing wheels with polished lips are mounted with 235/60 front and 255/60 rear BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. Front disc brakes are fitted, and the seller notes a drip from the power-steering system.
The interior features bolstered bucket seats from a 1998 Camaro that have been re-covered in black with ridged inserts to match the rear bench. Replacement black carpeting covers the floors, and a Chevy-branded stereo is mounted in the factory location. The car is also equipped with air conditioning. The dome light stays on, and the seller notes the bulb has been removed.
A four-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of a black dashboard, and auxiliary instruments are located in the console. The odometer shows 10k miles, 3k of which have been added by the seller since 2014. True mileage is unknown.
The 383ci stroker V8 was installed under previous ownership and is equipped with an FiTech fuel-injection system, a high-rise intake manifold, aluminum Air Flow Research cylinder heads, “Heartbeat of America” valve covers, an aftermarket camshaft, an MSD distributor, and dual exhaust. The fuel-injection system was added in 2020, at which point the fuel tank and fuel lines were replaced. The oil was changed in October 2020, and work in May 2021 consisted of installing a brass bushing to the power-steering pulley.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission. The rear axle is said to be equipped with a limited-slip differential and 3.73:1 gears. Additional photos of the underside are presented in the gallery below.
The car has a replacement VIN tag issued by the state of Kansas showing a VIN number that matches the car’s Kansas title.
