The car was acquired by the seller in 2006 and subsequent work consisted of replacing the suspension, brake booster, water pump, and power steering pump. This Camaro is offered with owner’s literature, service manuals, service records, and a clean New Jersey title in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in blue and was reportedly repainted at P&J Auto Body of Fords, New Jersey in 2015. Features include a black vinyl roof, Rally Sport trim, SS badges, black hockey stripes, concealed headlamps, front and rear spoilers, dual chrome mirrors, bumper guards, reverse lamps, and bright metal body-side moldings. The hide-away headlamps do not work.
The 15″ painted Rally wheels wear chrome trim rings and center caps and are mounted with 225/60 BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires up front and 255/60 Mickey Thompson ET Street Drag Radial tires out back. The car is equipped with power steering and Slide-a-Link traction bars. Braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums. The brake booster and power steering pump were replaced during current ownership.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in white vinyl upholstery joined by matching door panels. Equipment includes a Hurst shifter with a Summit Racing line-lock attachment, faux woodgrain trim, a heater, lap belts, SS-branded floormats, and a Sony AM/FM/CD stereo. The air conditioning system is not hooked up and the body wiring harness is said to have been replaced. The outer edges of the front seat covers are discolored.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer and a 7k-rpm tachometer. Auxiliary gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and battery amperage are stacked in two tiers on the center console ahead of the shifter. The five-digit odometer shows 33k miles, approximately 13k of which were added by the seller. Total mileage is unknown.
The replacement 350ci V8 breathes through an Edelbrock intake manifold and a four-barrel carburetor. A Lunati camshaft is said to have been installed along with a four-core radiator, Hooker headers, and an MSD electronic ignition, distributor, and coil. The oil was changed and the header bolts were secured during a November 2021 service.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a Tremec TKO 600 five-speed manual transmission and a 12-bolt Positraction rear axle fitted with 4.11:1 gears. A dual exhaust system with Flowmaster 40 Series mufflers is installed.
