This 1968 Chevrolet Camaro coupe is powered by a supercharged 468ci V8 that was installed in 2023. Additional work included a refinish in black and the reupholstering of the interior. The car is equipped with a four-speed manual transmission, a Dana 60 rear-end, a BDS Racing blower, dual Holley carburetors, Flowmaster dual exhaust, 15″ Rally wheels, Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes, cowl-mounted gauges, a domed hood, concealed headlights, a Grant steering wheel, and a Hurst shifter. This supercharged Camaro coupe was acquired by the selling dealer in 2023 and is now offered with build records and a clean New Jersey title.
The car left the factory in Cordovan Maroon (N) and was refinished in black with a white nose stripe during the refurbishment. Features include a domed hood with a cutout as well as SS badging, a driver-side mirror, concealed headlights, dual exhaust outlets, and chrome bumpers. There is a scrape on the rear spoiler, and additional close-up exterior photos are shown in the gallery below.
The 15″ Rally wheels are mounted with 205/60 front and 295/50 rear BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. Braking is handled by four-wheel Wilwood disc brakes.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench reupholstered in black vinyl with black-and-white houndstooth fabric inserts. Interior appointments include a Hurst shifter, a center console, auxiliary switches, a cassette stereo, and a heater.
A wood-rimmed Grant steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer and a tachometer. The five-digit odometer shows 45k miles, approximately 20 of which were added under current ownership. Auxiliary gauges are located beneath the center stack and a quartet of AutoMeter Pro-Comp Ultra Lite gauges are mounted on the cowl.
The supercharged 468ci V8 was installed under previous ownership and features a BDS Racing blower topped with dual Holley carburetors. Additional equipment includes Edelbrock aluminum cylinder heads, a crankcase scavenge system, long-tube exhaust headers, Flowmaster mufflers, ARP fasteners, MSD ignition, and a Be Cool radiator.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Borg-Warner T-10 four-speed manual transmission and a Dana 60 rear-end.
