This 1968 Chevrolet Camaro RS coupe is finished in Teal Blue over a matching vinyl interior and is equipped with a 327ci L30 V8 paired with a Powerglide automatic transmission and a Positraction rear end. The car reportedly underwent a rotisserie refurbishment around 2012 while under prior ownership in Chicago, Illinois, with work said to have included a repainted body and a redone interior. Features include bucket seats, air conditioning, console gauges, power steering, and power brakes. This Camaro RS was acquired by the selling dealer in June 2019 and is now offered in Montreal with Quebec registration.
During the refurbishment, the body received a new coat of Teal Blue (L6) paint with white nose stripes. The white vinyl top and the finish are pictured from multiple angles in the gallery below. Additional features include front and rear spoilers, hidden headlights, SS hood trim, “rally-sport” badges, and side mirrors.
14″ Rallye wheels retain chrome rings and hub covers and are wrapped in BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires.
Optional bucket seats are upholstered in matching blue vinyl (719) accompanied by a color-keyed dashboard, door panels, and carpeting. Factory equipment includes air conditioning, a deluxe tilt steering wheel, power windows, and a rear defroster.
Approximately 88k miles are shown on the five-digit odometer. An optional instrumentation package (RPO U17) is equipped, and a tachometer is accompanied by gauges for oil pressure, amperage, fuel level, and water temperature.
The numbers-matching L30 327ci V8 was rated at 275 horsepower when new and is paired with a Powerglide automatic transmission and a Positraction rear end. Additional factory features include an optional heavy-duty radiator and Gardner dual exhaust. The engine stamping shown within the gallery includes the digits 328263, which match the vehicle’s serial number. An oil service was completed in June 2019 according to the seller.
Additional photos presented in the gallery highlight the condition of the underside and mechanicals.
