1968 Chevrolet Camaro Coupe

This 1968 Chevrolet Camaro coupe is powered by a 350ci crate V8 backed by a three-speed automatic transmission. The car has been refinished in metallic red over black vinyl and features a Positraction rear end, ceramic-coated headers, dual exhaust system, black vinyl top, black nose stripe, deck-lid spoiler, 15″ Rally-style wheels, power-assisted steering and brakes, and a Kenwood CD player. The seller acquired the car in 2013, and the transmission pan and pan gasket were replaced in 2021. This Camaro coupe is now offered with a car cover, service records, and a Washington title.

The cabin has been reupholstered in black and features vinyl-trimmed bucket seats, retractable front lap seatbelts, a Kenwood CD player, and a center console with woodgrain trim.

The three-spoke steering wheel fronts a 120-mph speedometer and a combination gauge. The five-digit odometer shows 67k miles, approximately 3k of which were added by the seller. Total mileage is unknown.

The 350ci General Motors crate V8 was installed in June 2018 and features a chrome air cleaner, an Edelbrock intake manifold, ceramic-coated tubular headers, and chrome valve covers with red bowtie logos. The fluids were changed approximately 700 miles ago.

Power is sent to the rear wheels via a three-speed TH350 automatic transmission and an Eaton Positraction rear differential with 3.90:1 gearing. The transmission was rebuilt in July 2020, and the transmission and gasket were replaced in 2021. A custom dual exhaust system is also fitted.

The Fisher trim tag indicates that the car is a 1968 Camaro Sport Coupe built in the third week of May at the Norwood, Ohio assembly plant and finished in Ash Gold over Gold vinyl.

The title carries Exceeds Mechanical Limits and Classic Vehicle brands.
