This 1968 Chevrolet Camaro is powered by a 383ci V8 paired with a TH350 three-speed automatic transmission and an Eaton 3.31:1 Positraction differential. Finished in black with red stripes over red upholstery, it is equipped with Vintage Air climate control, electronic ignition, power steering, a CVF Racing serpentine drive, power-assisted disc brakes, CPP tubular control arms, Cal-Trac bars, and Hotchkis subframe connectors. The car was acquired by the seller on BaT in February 2022, and subsequent work included installing a Holley Street Avenger 750CFM four-barrel carburetor, an MSD distributor, and an electric fuel pump and sending unit in addition to replacing the dome-light assembly and the leather on the steering wheel. This Camaro is now offered with service records, removed parts, and a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in black with red stripes on the roof and body sides. Features include 383 and SS badging, a cowl hood, chrome bumpers, front and rear spoilers, dual side mirrors, and a dual-outlet exhaust that exits below the rear bodywork. Paint flaws are noted on the rocker panels and the right side of the panel below the rear window.
The 18″ five-spoke wheels wear SS center caps and Falken Azenis tires measuring 235/40 up front and 255/45 out back. The car is fitted with power steering, CPP tubular control arms, Cal-Trac bars, and Hotchkis subframe connectors. Braking is provided by power-assisted CPP discs at all four corners. Suspension and brake work during current ownership is itemized in a January 2023 service record shown in the gallery below.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in red vinyl joined by a color-coordinated dashboard, console, and door panels. Equipment includes Vintage Air climate control, a center console, polished door sills, all-weather floor mats, lap belts, and a retro-style radio.
Fitted with replacement leather in April 2022, the billet steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer and a 7k-rpm tachometer. Additional gauges monitoring amperage, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level are housed in the center console. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 10k miles, approximately 500 of which have been added by the seller. Total mileage is unknown.
Installed in 2019, the 383ci stroker V8 was built by West Coast Engines, and it is equipped with a CVF Racing serpentine drive system. A Holley Street Avenger 750CFM four-barrel carburetor and an MSD electronic distributor were installed during current ownership along with a replacement fuel pump, sending unit, and fuel lines. A removed Holley Sniper fuel injection system accompanies the car and is pictured at the end of the gallery below.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a TH350 three-speed automatic transmission and an Eaton 3.31:1 Positraction differential. A custom-fabricated dual exhaust system is also fitted.
