This 1968 Chevrolet Camaro coupe was refurbished and modified between 2022 and 2023 by NextGen Performance of Spencer, Massachusetts. Finished in Midnight Blue candy pearl paint, this Camaro is powered by a 6.2-liter LS3 V8 crate engine linked with a Tremec TKX five-speed manual transmission and a 9″ rear end with 3.70:1 gearing. Additional equipment consists of 18″ staggered-width Forgeline wheels, black leather-upholstered TMI bucket seats, rear mini-tubs, a Vintage Air HVAC system, a four-link rear suspension, Ridetech adjustable coilovers, Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes, Borgeson power steering, and Dakota Digital instrumentation. Work performed in preparation for the sale included fluid changes along with replacement of the fuel pump, clutch release bearing, and window felts. This modified Camaro is now offered by the selling dealer with a binder of documentation and a clean Massachusetts title.
The bodywork has been refinished in Midnight Blue candy pearl with a black taillight panel, bumpers, and trim pieces. Details include Holley Retrobright LED headlights and taillights as well as an RS-spec front grill and hideaway headlight covers, Ring Brothers side-view mirrors, and Eddie Motorsports billet door handles. The selling dealer installed a Detroit Speed windshield wiper system and Ring Brothers hood hinges prior to the sale and replaced the window felts and rear quarter window weatherstrip roller assemblies.
The 18″ Forgeline GA3C wheels measure 9″ in width up front and 11″ out back and are mounted with 245/40 and 335/30 Toyo Proxes R888 tires. Detroit Speed rear mini tubs have been installed, and stopping power is provided by Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes with six -piston front and four-piston rear calipers. Further modifications include a Borgeseon power steering box, a Holley power steering pump, Ridetech adjustable HQ coilovers with Hyperco springs, Ridetech tubular control arms, a front sway bar, and a bolt-on four-link rear suspension system. The brake fluid was serviced prior to the sale.
The cabin houses contoured TMI front bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in black leather with color-keyed suede inserts. The suede-wrapped center console houses dual cupholders and controls for the Vintage Air HVAC system, a Jensen CD stereo with Bluetooth connectivity is mounted in the dash, and Camaro-branded mats line the floors. Front and rear seat belts were fitted by the selling dealer.
A black-finished billet steering wheel is mounted to a Flaming River tilting steering column and frames Dakota Digital HDX instrumentation. A Haltech digital display for the fuel system is mounted in the lower part of the dash. The digital odometer indicates 860 miles, though total mileage is unknown.
The 6.2-liter LS3 V8 crate engine is equipped with a Haltech fuel management system, an ASA camshaft, and Radium Engineering fuel rails. Further modifications consist of an American Autowire wiring harness, a Roto-Fab air intake system, Griffin Performance aluminum radiator with an electric fan, Hooker ceramic-coated headers, and dual Summit Racing mufflers. An Anvil carbon fiber hood close panel and fender braces have been installed. The fuel pump was replaced and the oil changed in preparation for the sale.
The Tremec TKX five-speed manual transmission routes power to the rear wheels via a CT driveshaft and Ridetech Quick Performance 9” Rear end with 3.7:1 gearing. A black textured coating has been applied to the underside of the body, and the subframe was powder-coated black. The selling dealer has replaced the clutch release bearing.
