This 1968 Chevrolet Camaro was refurbished approximately three years ago under prior ownership and modified by installing a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 paired with a Tremec T56 Magnum six-speed manual transmission. The car is finished in orange over black upholstery and equipped with tubular control arms, adjustable coilovers, a four-link rear suspension, Wilwood brakes, and Forgeline wheels. Additional equipment includes a cowl-induction hood, LED taillights, Vintage Air A/C, power windows, and Braum front bucket seats. The car was acquired by the current owner in 2021, and service in preparation for the sale is said to include changing the fluids. This modified Camaro is now offered on dealer consignment with a clean Texas title.
The car was refinished in its current shade of orange during the refurbishment. Exterior details include a front spoiler, a cowl-induction hood, bright rocker panel trim, an aftermarket fuel filler door, chrome bumpers, and LED taillights.
Polished Forgeline wheels measure 18″ up front and 19″ at the rear and are mounted with 275/35 and 315/30 Falken Azenis AT660 tires. The left-front wheel is missing a center cap. An aftermarket front subframe is equipped with adjustable tubular upper and lower control arms, and the rear features a four-link suspension. Adjustable coilovers are fitted at all four corners. Braking is handled by red-finished Wildwood multi-piston calipers over slotted and cross-drilled rotors.
The cabin features Braum front bucket seats upholstered in black with perforated inserts, while the color-matching rear bench is accented by orange stitching. Equipment includes Vintage Air A/C, a center console, power windows, and an aftermarket stereo with speakers in the footwells and a JL subwoofer in the trunk.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer indicates 5k miles, approximately 1k of which were added under current ownership. True mileage is unknown
The supercharged 6.2-liter LSA V8 is equipped with a modified air intake, a Powermaster alternator, a Holley oil pan, Chevrolet-branded valve covers, MSD ignition wires, aftermarket polished aluminum pulleys, and long-tube headers. Cooling is provided by a C&R Racing radiator and a pair of electric fans. A fluid service was performed in preparation for the sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec T56 Magnum six-speed manual transmission. The dual exhaust system features an X-pipe and Magnaflow mufflers. Additional underside images are available in the gallery.
There is currently a lien on the car, and the owner’s lender will need to be paid off before the title can be transferred to the new owner.
