1967 Chevrolet Chevy II Nova

This 1967 Chevrolet Chevy II Nova was acquired by the seller as a project in 2014 and subsequently modified with a 350ci V8 mated to a Tremec five-speed manual transmission. The car is finished in metallic blue over black upholstery, and equipment includes Rallye-style steel wheels, power-assisted front disc brakes, rear air shocks, Edelbrock valve covers, an aluminum radiator, air conditioning, aftermarket power-adjustable front bucket seats, power steering, Dakota Digital instrumentation, a Hurst shifter, and an upgraded stereo. Service performed in 2021 is said to have included replacement of an intake manifold gasket. This Nova is offered with a removed instrument cluster and a clean California title in the seller’s name.

The car has been refinished in metallic blue and features chrome bumpers, dual side mirrors, tinted glass, blue underbody lighting, and dual exhaust outlets. The passenger-side underbody lighting is non-functional, and areas of paint bubbling are depicted in the photo gallery below.

Silver-finished 14″ Rallye-style steel wheels wear polished trim rings with hubcaps and are mounted with 225/60 and 245/60 BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. Braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums. The car is equipped with rear air shocks, and the leaf springs are said to have been replaced during current ownership.

The interior features aftermarket power-adjustable front bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in black vinyl with a matching dash pad, door panel inserts, and carpets. Amenities include air conditioning, a center console with cup holders, Chevrolet-branded floor mats, a Hurst shifter, blue LED interior lighting, an aftermarket head unit, and a trunk-mounted subwoofer.

A three-spoke steering wheel is mounted to a replacement steering column and frames Dakota Digital instrumentation that includes a 160-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, a digital display, and auxiliary gauges. The odometer indicates 4,400 miles, which is said to indicate the distance traveled since the installation of the replacement engine. True mileage is unknown, and a removed instrument cluster is included in the sale.

The replacement 350ci V8 is said to have been installed during current ownership by Hawaii Racing of Simi Valley, California. Features include a dual exhaust system, an aluminum radiator, and an integrated battery maintainer. Service since 2021 involved installation of Edelbrock ribbed aluminum valve covers and a replacement intake manifold gasket.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a replacement Tremec five-speed manual transmission and a 3.08:1 rear end. A replacement fuel tank is said to have been installed, and additional underside images are included in the gallery below.
