This 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle SS coupe is finished in black over black and was acquired by the seller in 2017. A replacement 454ci V8 was installed the following year and is fitted with a Holley 750-cfm carburetor, an Edelbrock intake manifold, aluminum cylinder heads, an MSD ignition system, an aluminum radiator, Sanderson ceramic-coated headers, and a Flowmaster exhaust. A rear disc brake conversion was also performed at that time, and additional equipment includes a four-speed manual transmission, 12-bolt Positraction rear axle, polished Ridler wheels, power steering and brakes, and vinyl seating. This Chevelle SS is now offered with service records from current ownership and a clean California title in the seller’s name.
Originally finished in Butternut Yellow, the body was repainted black during prior ownership. Replacement chrome bumpers have been fitted, and additional exterior features include a vented hood, SS badging, and dual side mirrors. Photos showing finish imperfections including a bubble on the hood are included in the gallery.
Polished Ridler wheels measure 18″ up front and 20″ out back and are mounted with 225/45 and 245/40 Nankang Noble Sport NS-E0 tires that are said to have been recently installed. The rear brakes were converted to discs in 2018, and the master cylinder, proportioning valve, and lines were also replaced at that time. Drilled and slotted rotors are fitted at each corner.
The seats are upholstered in black vinyl and the cabin features a matching dash, loop carpeting, and door panels. Amenities include power steering, a Hurst shifter, lap belts, and Chevrolet-branded rubber floor mats. The seller notes the radio does not work and the clock is intermittently functional. Photos in the gallery show corrosion below the dash as well as fading on the rear seat upholstery.
A three-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of a horizontal-sweep 120-mph speedometer and AutoMeter auxiliary gauges have been installed below the dash. The five-digit odometer shows just under 1k miles, though total mileage is unknown.
