This 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu sport coupe was acquired by the current owner in 2014 and subsequently fitted with a 6.2-liter LS3 V8 and a 6L80-E six-speed automatic transmission. The car was refinished in white with a black stripe, and further modifications include 18″ Ridler wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, power steering, Hotchkis suspension components, and a dual exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers. The black-and-white interior features air conditioning, a Pioneer head unit, a Grant steering wheel, and a B&M QuickSilver shifter. This Chevelle Malibu is now offered by the seller on behalf of the owner with New York registration.
The seller notes that the car was refinished in its current combination of white with a gloss black stripe in 2017. Exterior details include a cowl induction hood, electric windshield wipers, bright trim, and tinted windows.
Ridler 18″ five-spoke wheels are mounted with mixed Nitto tires measuring 245/40 up front and 285/40 out back. The car is equipped with a UniSteer power steering system and Hotchkis suspension components. The braking system features four-wheel discs in addition to a chrome-finished booster and master cylinder.
The seating surfaces are upholstered in black and white, and the color scheme extends to the door panels and trunk. A B&M QuickSilver shifter, billet aluminum pedals, air conditioning, and a Pioneer head unit are equipped.
The Grant steering wheel fronts aftermarket readouts consisting of a 160-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer shows 2,600 miles, all of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The 6.2-liter LS3 V8 was installed in 2017, and the engine bay was modified with a smoothed firewall and revised radiator support and inner fenders. Additional modifications reported by the seller include the following components:
- Phantom in-tank fuel pump kit
- Electric vacuum air pump
- March Performance billet accessory belt drive system
- Billet fuel pressure regulator
- Aluminum radiator w/cooling fan
- GM oil pan conversion kit
Power is routed to the rear wheels through a 6L80-E six-speed automatic transmission, a revised driveshaft, and a 10-bolt rear end. The dual exhaust system is fitted with 3″ pipes and Flowmaster mufflers that terminate under the car ahead of the rear axle.
The car does not have a title, as it is registered in a state that does not issue titles for a vehicle of its age. It is being sold on its New York registration, which expired in May 2022.
